Negotiable Certificates of Deposit (NCD)
Product Feature
NCD is a time deposit type financial product which is issued by discounting interest on deposit in advance and can be transferred to another person by endorsement.
Transaction Terms
Available for all types of corporate
- Contract Term: 30 days or longer (However, holidays or Saturdays cannot be the maturity date.)
Interest Rate
Contract interest rate
- This is a variable interest rate product and interest rate is subject to change per market rate. (No interest payable after maturity.)
Required Documents
• Business Registration Certificate
• ID Card
• Seal Certificate
• Power of Attorney
• Other Required Document(s)
Other Information
• NCD is issued in bearer form and negotiable freely. Redemption will be made to the holder
of the certificate.
• Interim changes during contract period and re-issuance of the certificate are not allowed,
Certificates of balance are not issued.
• Withdrawal before maturity is not permitted.
• In case of loss or burglary, it is handled in the same manner as with cashier’s check.
